sunnies sunnies sunnies sunnies sunnies sunnies

Hello and happy weekend!

For starters, I hope everyone is staying safe and taking measures to help end this really sad time in our nation. Along with that, it’s been hard for me to think about writing or being joyful or creative on the blog while so many are in dire straits. This is a really difficult time and honestly, I don’t think anyone is thinking about buying sunglasses right now.

But an Instagramer I follow shared a post recently from a healthcare worker who basically asked that everyone ‘keep creating; when this is over, we will need people like you…’. Honestly, I wish I was able to do more to help with this situation. Not being a healthcare giver or a person who is working towards ending this makes one feel very helpless. But then I think about what I and so many others are doing; by staying home and taking protective measures, we’re helping flatten the curve and hopefully shorten the life of this virus.

So, whoever you are reading this, if you’re feeling like you’re not doing enough, I completely understand. But, in this moment, we’re honestly just asked to stay at home to fight the battle. I have no idea how this will end, but I do have faith and courage that if we continue to do the right thing, we can make a difference.

That being said, my sunnies are made of wood, are recyclable, non-toxic, biodegradable, and energy efficient. Plus, the lenses are polarized, so your eyes are nicely protected from the suns rays. I have a smaller sized face, but these fit very comfortably and I didn’t feel like they were going to fall off nor were they too tight. When this is all over, one of the things I really can’t wait to do is go to the beach with my friends. You better know I will be taking these sunnies with me.

Don’t get discouraged. This will end. And until it does, we will fight by standing together- apart.

If you like what you see, please share!
