Happy Friday! I’m popping on here really quickly to share three super easy ways to tuck your shirt hem into your jeans ( or any pants you happen to by wearing ).
For one thing, tucking in your shirt hem helps to elongate your leg as well as add a unique touch to your outfit. nothing says loving like everything laying flat and perfectly untucked. It’s like a messy bun; it’s so boring if you flatten your hair out like crazy. Instead, let it be super messy and it gives your volume on top of your head.
So, enough about hair; lets get talking how to tuck your shirt hem in!
1. The partial tuck
This is where you grab just the edge of the one of the corners of your top and tuck it into the waistband of your pants. If it’s on the left side, tuck it into the part of your pants above your left pocket and vice versa. This is a more carefree tuck.
2. The half tuck
This is where you grab the front, middle of your top and tuck just the edge of the hem into the waist band of your jeans. Make sure to center it to make it have the waterfall hem affect. This tuck is a little bit more polished.
3. The front tuck
Personally, I don’t use this tuck a lot, but this is where you take the entire front of the top and tuck in into the front of your pants. Leave the tail out so give dimension to the look of the outfit. This tuck can be either dressy or casual.
So these are my three ways to tuck your shirt hem in. What about you? Do you have a unique way to tuck in your hem?
