If there is one thing that I literally detest, it’s clutter. That’s not to say that I don’t have tons of it everywhere, but it feels so much better when things are organized. I feel like my brain can rest.
One area that I recently decided to tackle were the scary desk drawers that have been staring at me for months now. Their contents were honestly a complete mystery and that in and of itself was terrifying. So, the first thing that I did was empty them out completely. And I mean everything had to come out! I laid it out on my bed in little piles pertaining to what category each item fell into.
Next, I took my containers that I had purchased from Amazon to organize the drawer into the order I wanted them. The best thing about these is that the sides lock together, so no more sliding around.
After each drawer had it’s organizers laid out, it was time to start placing the items back in their categories. You would not believe how much was in these drawers that could simply be thrown away. Apparently, I’m a bit of a hoarder of garbage, lol.
And now I open the drawers and can see everything I have and not have to dig anymore! It’s so nice to know that everything is within reach and that it didn’t cost very much to get the drawer put together. Desk organization anyone?
