Hello Lovelies!

Happy Tuesday! One of my favorite things about this time of year is having a spring wedding to attend. It’s such a wonderful way to start the warmer weather season.

And since this year’s spring is so mild, maxi skirts can still be worn. When I found this gem in New York and Company, I knew immeadiately I had to have it. And you know that as with all my clothing, it comes with a story. For some reason, New York and Co. does not stock smaller sizes in store, so I hopped on the internet to order it.

I then realized that since I was ordering the skirt for Easter, I would need to get two day shipping for it to arrive on time. ( I have such a thing for last minute decisions. I ordered this the Monday before Easter. ) So, got my two day shipping, ended up getting it for free through ShopRunner and sat back and waited for my package to arrive.

And kept waiting.

And waiting.

So, finally, after worrying, calling UPS, having the item sent to a UPS facility for holding, and having ten good panic sessions, I got my skirt. And was so thrilled!

It was definitely worth the wait. The moral of that long and slightly ridiculous story is that you should never procrastinate, and if you see something you love, buy it! Life is just too short. ( Unless you have to pay bills; then pay the bills, it’s just clothes. )

And if you have a spring wedding to attend, this skirt would be perfect! It’s not lined, but is nice and thick, so you don’t have to worry about it, which also keeps it cool. I’m also going to link some of my favorites from the Eva Mendes collection and others below.

What do you like to wear to a spring wedding?
